The word karma means 'action' and can occur on three levels: physical, verbal or mental. It is a simple law of "cause and effect" where our actions leave imprints or impressions on the mind, which, over time, produce different results. In marketing, whether or not you believe in karma, this will not make any change so that every action you do towards your consumers, will be returned to you, either positively or negatively.
Every promotion you implement, messages you send, actions online, offlineEverything, absolutely everything, will have consequences.
Marketing Karma can be translated into the good practices with which we carry out our business, which determines us with our consumers.
And since good actions generate good Karma, here are several recommendations to make sure that your karma is positive in your marketing plan, so that your effects with the consumer are beneficial:
- Have a marketing plan with a vision for the future, with measurable objectives that reflect the company's business strategy, so that they are consistent in meeting the product and service demands that the consumer requires.
- Plan and control the high level of quality of your products and services, through procedures that are followed by all those involved in its development.
- Evaluate and track your suppliers so that you have ethical and committed partners at all points in your supply chain.
- Monitor the proper maintenance of your plants and offices so that your staff have the necessary and sufficient security to be able to carry out their activities.
- Perform periodic audits to determine areas for improvement in processes at all points of the business.
- Allow your employees to have a balance in their professional and personal life so that they develop holistically and have better creative capacity.
- Respond immediately, karmically and efficiently to the requests of your customers both in the purchase process and in the after-sales service and fulfill everything you offered when purchasing the product.
- I invite you to generate good karma and the happiness of your company, by carrying out these simple tips and get rid of false beliefs such as: "the consumer will not realize the false information" or "total, by that time, they will have already bought the product".
When the marketer manages to eliminate vices such as deception from his planning and implementation process, the results will be very positive both on a day-to-day basis and in the future of the company.
I assure you, that only in this way, you will achieve the true happiness of your consumer, and your own.
