Life is full of happy moments, for me, a technology lover, one of the most exciting is when I receive the email from the CES (Consumer Electronic Show) organizing team confirming that my accreditation was approved and that we will see each other soon In Las Vegas.
As you know, CES is the most important technology fair in the world, it is organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), and it has been held at the beginning of each year for more than 50 years, to set the standard for next-generation technological innovation. generation that we will see appear on the market during the following months, and where all the relevant industries present the latest technology.
This year, more than 180 thousand attendees are expected to witness the main innovations on 5G networks, artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, health technologies, robotics, autonomous cars in smart cities, sports technology, voice assistants, blockchain , among other great technological themes created to make our daily life very enjoyable and apparently simpler.
The IQ of Artificial Intelligence
Without a doubt, Artificial Intelligence is taking a leading role in the way in which governments, people and industries are being much more challenging to improve the quality of life, creating platforms that make more efficient the way in which users of services such as health, banking, transport, as well as consumers of different products live personalized experiences through the joint use with Big Data.
From "OK Google, turn on the lamp in the room and change the TV channel", or create the diagnosis of diseases such as cancer, are just some examples of the great capabilities that artificial intelligence offers us that even without realizing it, we already around us.
But how did we get here?
It all started when within the digital evolution, our social and work life adopted "Big Data" that allows us to store and analyze large amounts of data in record time, in order to make accurate and timely decisions. This tool has transformed us all, doctors, engineers, lawyers, communicologists... all of us.
For many years we have been users of systems called deep mind that are used by companies like Apple with Siri and Google's AlphaGo, which, by monitoring our digital activity and integrating information search experiences, know perfectly and in real time what you have bought, searched for, where you have gone and the most incredible, where will you go and how long will it take to reach your destination. Thus, artificial intelligence analyzes and uses this data to help companies and creators to interact with their users and identify their needs immediately and allows them to interact with them in a human way.
Today, artificial intelligence is adopted by different industries, and the large car manufacturers are no exception. This year they presume that their participation will be extremely surprising since they add the capabilities of 5G networks to their already very advanced automotive technology.
CES will take place from January 8 to 11, so I will tell you about my experience during the fair, which I am sure, like every year, will present incredible innovation that will continue to unite and transform us into a huge digital village.
I take this opportunity to thank with all my admiration and respect my comrade and friend Marco Levario Turkot and congratulate Etcétera Magazine for the great journalistic milestone of freedom of expression that it demonstrated in the last 24 hours where more than 15,000 messages were tweeted where its readers asked his return to twitter, since it is a medium that, without a doubt, is one of the main critics of political and social activity in Mexico and a benchmark of ethical journalism in our country. #We are allEt cetera
