As a space for commercial exchange and experiences between businesswomen
\nof the member countries of the Pacific Alliance, for the acquisition and exchange of
\nnew knowledge and experiences that translate into more intra-alliance business
\nand to third markets, was held at the Events Center of the
\nSergio Arboleda University of Bogot\u00e1 the fourth version of the Foro Empresarias
\nLeaders 2018.
\n
\nThe meeting, organized by ProChile, ProColombia, ProM\u00e9xico and PromPer\u00fa, will
\nconstitutes as part of the strategy led by the Technical Group of agencies
\npromotion of the Pacific Alliance with the collaboration of the Gender group
\nto promote the participation and generation of business of the companies of the
\ntrade bloc that are led by women, and thus materialize the perspective
\nof gender as a transversal element.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that this forum was born in Mexico in 2015, in this fourth edition
\nthe event had more than 300 participants during the academic agenda,
\nwith interventions by the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia, Jos\u00e9
\nManuel Restrepo; the head of the Gender Department of the Directorate of
\nInternational Economic Relations \u2013 DIRECON \u2013 from Chile, Nicole Verdugo; the
\nDirector of the Colombian Chamber of Electronic Commerce, Mar\u00eda Fernanda
\nQuinones; and the consultant for the Integration and Trade Division of the IDB,
\nCarolina Lopez, among others.<\/p>\n
During the event, the panel 'Success stories of leading female entrepreneurs from
\nthe Pacific Alliance', where Ingrid Motta, CEO of BrainGame
\nCentral as a success story in Mexico presented the history of the construction of its
\ncommunication and marketing agency specializing in the fields of
\ntelecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies
\n5 years after its constitution, which has regional coverage. Ingrid
\nshared the stage with four prominent businesswomen from the countries of the
\nPacific Alliance, in a panel moderated by the president of ProColombia,
\nFlavia Santoro.<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the event, not only the challenges and challenges of entrepreneurship are discussed
\nwomen, but also presented the initiatives that are being
\ndeveloping within the framework of the Pacific Alliance to promote the
\nempowerment and economic development of women, and exchanged

\u201cThe objective of strengthening and empowering women entrepreneurs in the countries that

\nsocial benefit of each of the countries that comprise it. highlighted Ingrid
\nIn the business conference, ProM\u00e9xico participated with a delegation of businesswomen
\nmainly from the textile fashion sector and secondly from the agri-food sector,
\nfrom states such as Oaxaca, Guerrero, Puebla, State of Mexico and
\nMexico City that seek to promote their exportable offer before 32
\nintra-Alliance buyers through one-on-one meetings. This space of
\ncommercial exchange expects to generate 352 business appointments.<\/p>\n
The four founding nations of the Pacific Alliance gather 38% of GDP
\nof Latin America and when adding all their production and if they were counted as a single
\ncountry, in 2017 they would have been the eighth largest economy in the world.
\nThese four economies are characterized by having achieved a remarkable
\neconomic stability resulting in dynamic economic growth and
\ngeneration of employment with increasing productivity, in stability of its
\nmain financial indicators such as the exchange rate and interest rates, in
\nlow inflation, among others, derived from its economic policies that, above all,
\npromote in a sustainable way the distribution of benefits among all its
\npopulation.<\/p>\n
They also stand out for their active and effective strategy of increasing equity and
\ninclusion, with marked attention to the gender issue, which translates into the
\nincorporation of the valuable and substantial female human capital to the apparatus
\nnational productive.<\/p>\n
This enhances economic growth and development, based on these
\nleading nations in each other's abundant natural resources, the
\ncharacteristic creativity of its inhabitants, but above all, of the growing
\ntaking advantage of the vast talent and effort of the human capital of its women
\nThus, they guarantee the path to comprehensive economic development.<\/p>\n
